Angry Goat Purple Hippo hot sauce pairs the unique watermelon/bubble-gum flavor of prickly pear and the sweetness of agave nectar, with the heat of scorpion, habanero and jalapeño peppers. While the ingredients are unique, the sauce pairs well with your favorite dishes, from eggs, to pizza, to tacos, to whatever else needs a boost of flavor and heat.
While Purple Hippo has a bit of sweetness, it's a complement to the peppers, and is not oversweet at all. If you're looking for heat, but not at the expense of flavor, this is a great choice.
This one of kind sauce has quickly grown to be a Hot Sauce Lover favorite. Give it a try today!

I recently was gifted a bottle of this hot sauce, and I have to say it's one of the most unique hot sauces I've tried yet. Where most hot sauces get more subtle with the fruit the hotter they get Purple Hippo does not. As it hits your tongue you get the fruity, sweet, bubblegum notes from the prickly pear, followed by a fairly strong amount of heat, that quickly tapers into a still strong, yet enjoyable heat level. Wonderful for meats, fish, and cheeses
This will be to hot for all but the most dedicated hot sauce lovers. Unlike many sauces of this heat level, the flavor is so delicious you will want more. I’ve reordered twice and have shared it with friends. It is the only bottle from my quarterly Hot Sauce club that I have gone on to buy. Rich, fruity, sweet, and like fire.
A wonderful surprise came in this months Hot Sauce Club package- Purple Hippo. So delicious that I went right to Doc Hotties to buy more, for myself & some of my hot sauce buddies .Doc's carries most everything you every heard of & many even hard core users will find new. Try the Hippo!
Never had a sauce like this. Sweet enough where I didn't think it'd pair well with much but I was wrong. Good on wings. It is weird with ice cream but fun to try. As for heat, it kind of bites you hard then disappears.
